Sometimes the bad ones stand out, but there’s always a good on to counter it. Remembering the first time I met someone special in my life always reminds me that the people you meet influence changes in your life. One of my closest friends, Ashley, made a huge impact on my life, and has changed my life in positive ways. I slung my backpack over my shoulder and waved back at the car as I walked up the driveway. The house had cream color siding, with blue and purple flowers lining the side. The lawn was neatly trimmed, making the house look impossibly perfect. I lightly tapped my knuckles against the front door, and then nervously tugged on the straps around my shoulders. The door swung open and I was greeted by a smiling woman wearing a light green apron. She had the same red hair and smile as Ashley; it was uncanny. â€Å"Hello, there! I’m Ashley’s mom, but you can call me Karen. Come on in!† She ushered me inside and showed me wear to kick off my shoes. The house pleasantly smelled of lavender and baking. Ashley appeared from the hallway, sliding on the hardwood in her socks. She showed me around her house and I awkw ardly introduced myself to the rest of her family. â€Å"And last, but definitely not least, the basement!† Ashley bounded down the stairs and I carefully followed her. I moved off the last step onto an extremely plush carpet, and met and extremely welcoming room. There was a soft sofa with two fluffy cats lounging on it, and shelves fully stocked with movies and games. The entire room still smelled of lavender, but slightly mustier. The TV in front of the couch was surrounded by video game consoles and controllers. These neurotransmitters are referred to as Dopamine and regulate the movement, emotion, motivation, and feelings of pleasure within the brain. I dont know what I did wrong Essay Example For Students

I dont know what I did wrong Essay I dont know what I did wrong. I asked Amir agha, but he said I hadnt done anything. I would have stopped doing it, then maybe father and I wouldnt have had to leave. Before the kite tournament, Amir was my best friend, and we would always play together, but then he didnt want me around any more. There was nothing I could do to rekindle our relationship, Amir agha wouldnt let me. The last time I was properly with him, I really thought things might return to normal. We spoke like we used to; he told me about school and the teachers, but then he turned nasty. He started throwing pomegranates at me, screaming at me to fight back. But how could I ever do that to him? I remember at his party, his thirteenth, he ignored me all night. And I had to serve drinks to Assef. I knew I had to act as though nothing had happened. After all, it was Amirs night and I couldnt ruin it for him. Assef hit me, in the chest. It was nothing compared to what happened last time I saw him, and it was dark, so once again no one saw. I am thankful for that. After all we have done together; playing games and running in the streets, growing up together, I do not know what I have done for Amir agha to feel so angry at me. If feels as though I have lost my brother, as well as my best friend. There is nothing I would not do for him. I would eat dirt, if he asked me. We had planned to be friends forever, Amir agha and me. Hed even promised me he would buy me a television one day, and I would have kept it on the side where I keep all of my drawings. But that is no longer my home. My father plans for us to go and live with his cousin in Hazarajat. I am unsure as to what will happen to us then. Hopefully we will find a new master who is as kind as Baba sahib, although I am doubtful of that. I feel responsible for everyones pain, now. It is my fault that Amir agha is upset. I did not want him getting in to trouble, for putting the money under my mattress, and although I cannot understand why he did that, I know if I did not take responsibility for it, he would surely be blamed. As he is my best friend, brother, and master, I had to say it was me. But now, my father is deeply hurt at the loss of Baba sahib, as they grew up together and he was such a good master to us. Baba agha begged father to stay, he even cried for him, and that is also my fault. If I had been better to Amir agha, he would still like me, and none of this would have happened. I do not know what it was that made him hate me. It was after the kite tournament, and he won that, and I ran the kite for him. I know how much it meant to him, and I knew he wanted Baba to be proud of him, so I did everything I could to get him that kite. So why does he hate me? I dont think he saw what Assef did. If he did, surely he would have stopped them. I would have, had the situation been different. But since then, since I handed over the kite to him, he couldnt look me in the eyes. And now this. I feel betrayed by him, but if I knew what his reason was for it, then I am sure it would have been justifiable. .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 , .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .postImageUrl , .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 , .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8:hover , .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8:visited , .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8:active { border:0!important; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8:active , .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8 .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .ud975a8efb11c8dac451debd7b956fca8:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: caeser EssayI will always hope for a time where he forgives me for whatever it is I have done, and we can be brothers once more. Two Dead in Shooting free essay sample

Objective: Police officers of the Greensboro PD are saying that the deaths of two young people are the result of a murder- suicide. Early Friday morning on May 24, 2011 around three o’clock in the morning, Christina Marie Maxa-Gross who was 33, and Noah Adams, 32, were found shot. Reports show that Christina’s 9-year-old son (who is UN named) called 911 to come to 34 Josephine circle, the home of him and his mother saying that his mother and her friend needed help right away. He also stated, â€Å"I have no clue what happened†¦ but there is blood all over the floor. It was also said that Christina and Noah were having a bad argument when he heard his mom yelling stop, so he knew that Noah was doing something to his mother The dispatcher on the phone with the child asked him to go into the room with his mother and Adams to see if they were still breathing, he replied,† my mom is moving her arm and coughing but I can’t tell if they are conscious or not. We will write a custom essay sample on Two Dead in Shooting or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page † Also saying that his mom had two holes in her shirt that were not usually there. According to the medical examiner’s report Adams shot Christina then himself, the autopsy is scheduled for later this weekend. The boy was unharmed and now in the care of relatives, the neighborhood are very distraught about what happened and say they can’t believe this happened. Subjective: My opinion of this story would be that the little boy that made the phone call was very calm and knew what should be done. He was aware that things were not right in the resident in which he was in and he knew his mom was in trouble. He was alert enough to let the 911 dispatcher know how to ring the doorbell so he would know it is alright to answer the door for them when they arrived. The little boy was unsure exactly what happened, but was able to give the dispatcher answers to most of the questions asked. In my opinion, the dispatcher should not have requested the child to go back into the room where his mom was lying because it was uncertain just by the information I heard if there might have been another person involved. If there had been another person, the dispatcher may have very well put the little boy in danger. Other than that, I think the little boy handled things better than would have been expected of him.
